AIDAN O'Brien's second-string Melbourne Cup runner Honolulu, owned by prominent Irish thoroughbred personalities Derrick Smith, Susan Magnier and Michael Tabor, remains a curious entry for the Tattersalls Autumn Horses-In-Training Sale, starting on October 27 at Newmarket. Despite the entry in what is the world's largest horses-in-training sale, Tattersalls officials expect the four-year-old to be withdrawn due to his Melbourne Cup commitments. Two other well-performed O'Brien horses will go to sale, including group 2 Hardwicke Stakes winner Macarthur, and King Of Rome, a group 2 winner in Ireland. Last year, Melbourne Cup runner Yellowstone topped the sale at 520,000 guineas. -- MICHAEL SHARKIE
