GAI Waterhouse loves to start her good horses at the provincial tracks and Rock Kingdom might add his name to a long list in the Cove Financial Group Maiden Plate (1200m) at Kembla Grange tomorrow.
A winner of two barrier trials, Rock Kingdom should start favourite.Waterhouse (pictured) recently used Kembla to start Fight And Defend's spring campaign and the Encosta de Lago three-year-old is in line for starts in the Cox Plate and Victoria Derby after winning at Randwick on Tuesday."(I) love taking my good horses there to start with," Waterhouse said."It gives them confidence and gives you a chance to teach them something before they come to town."
